A Jungian librairy gathering hundreds of searcheable references

Located in the McGowan house, the library offers for our members a haven for study and small group discussions. It is one of the largest collection of Jungian books and analytical psychology publications in California including early editions of Spring, Parabola and Psychological Perspectives. The collections also focus on Mythology, World Religions and Philosophy.

Joseph Pagano

Our group’s founder was psychologist Joseph Pagano (1916–2012). Joseph studied at the Jung Institute in Zurich and served on the founding Board of the CG Jung Foundation of New York. Locating ​on the Monterey Peninsula ​in the mid-1980s as a counselor, he organized and presented programs on dream work, process psychology, and “the phenomena of individual fulfillment.”
