We will discuss Jung’s introduction to Richard Wilhelm’s translation of the I Ching. This will lead to an overview of Synchronicity, and further to an introduction of Chinese alchemy using the magic square of three. Finally, there will be a demonstration of how to use the I Ching. The image is that of Luo Shu (羅舒) from about 2800 BCE, which shows the arrangement of the trigrams of the I Ching with the magic square of three written on the back of a turtle.
