We join again tonight with the Ashland Symposia group convened in Ashland, Oregon. Gregory has been holding small-group discussions on The Little Prince. Following a first evening with this book, we gather one last time. Whether or not you joined the introduction, you’re welcome—this is a conversation, not a lecture.

We’ll reflect on some of the book’s most powerful moments—the rose, the fox, the empty thrones—and ask what they reveal about our world today. In an age of noise, speed, and crisis, how do we hold on to what matters: beauty, truth, and the sacred?

This evening invites us to slow down and pick up the thread. To ask, out loud and together: what if the path forward is not more cleverness, but more care? What if the compass we need isn’t in our devices—but in the heart?
